I’m a big fan of the Imperial Crowns of Los Angeles, California. When I heard about their new tour (after almost ten years), I decided to see them in Weert in the Netherlands. It’s a short train ride from Eindhoven, to where you can fly very cheap from Munich (thank you, Transavia). I took a train to Cologne on my way back, flying home to Salzburg from there. Quite a journey for a concert, but it was totally worth it. Still Jimmie Wood promised me, that they’d come to Austria again next time.
Someone described Eindhoven to me as one of the “most boring cities on the face of the Earth”. I can see that side, but I found a lot of charm in it too. At least now I know where Philips comes from and what the P in PSV Eindhoven stands for.
